The Minor Program in Philosophy

The study of philosophy can deepen and enrich understanding of a variety of other disciplines.

A minor in Philosophy consists of five full-course equivalents.  Although the minor has no required structure, here are some suggestions on a focus within the minor.

Anthropology, Political Science, Sociology:

Literature:
Philosophy 301, 303, 305, 309, 315, 317, 333.

Natural Sciences:
Philosophy 201, 305, 279 or 377, 345, 361, 367, 423, 461, 467.

Psychology:
Philosophy 201, 367, 383, 463, 483.

Religious Studies:
Philosophy 201, 249, 259, 301, 303, 305, 331, 335, 451, 517.
