Justin Caouette Recipient of J.B.Hyne Award

Congratulations to PhD Candidate, Justin Caouette, recipient of the J.B. Hyne Research Innovation Award. The Faculty of Graduate Students created this award to recognize graduate students in any discipline who excel in research. It is named to honor Dr.James B. Hyne, the first Dean of Graduate Studies (1966-89). The award was presented September 29.

Caouette's research interests focus on Ethics, Applied Ethics, and Metaphysics (esp. Free Will ad Moral Responsibility). He is working on his dissertation, "The Ethics of Enhancement", under the supervision of Walter Glannon and is close to defending. 

With an impressive number of publications and presentations for someone at this stage in his career, among his other professional activities Justin is a past Associate Editor for the official blog of the American Philosophical Association and was recently identified by TrueSciPhi as #7 on the list of Philosophers' Favorite Twitter Feeds. @JustinCaouette
