Gaining permission to waive course prerequisites

Students seeking to request waiving of a course's prerequisites should contact the instructor of the course by email.  When writing to the instructor, briefly describe your situation and your reasons for why you want to take the course without having the prerequisites.  This will help the instructor to make a decision. Make sure to include your full name and Student ID number in your email.   

Gaining admission to courses that are full

Students who have very special circumstances requiring their admission to a course that is full should email the Philosophy Department Administrator, Merlette Schnell.  Briefly describe your situation and your reasons for why you need to take the course in question in the current session.  Make sure to include your full name and Student ID number in your email.
